The Integrated Transport Strategy Directorate at Transport Malta has developed a National Transport Strategy, 2050 and Transport Master Plan, 2025 covering all relevant transport modes (land, public transport, sea and air) for the short, medium and long term for Malta.

The INECO-SYSTEMATICA Consortium provided expertise to build and populate the transport model to support the development of the Transport Strategy and Master Plan. Following extensive consultation with the various stakeholders and public the two documents were subject to the “Strategic Environmental Assessment” which has now concluded.
