Malta flagged ship ZOGRAFIA IMO 9486013 hit by a missile while transiting south Red Sea

The bulk carrier ZOGRAFIA was this morning reported to have been hit by a missile while navigating in the south Red Sea on a north bound route to the Suez Canal in ballast. The ship, which is operated by Vulcanus Technical Maritime Enterprises S.A., had a crew compliment of 25 seafarers from Georgia, Philippines, Russia and Ukraine. All the crew on board are reported to be safe and the ship officers are assessing the structural damage sustained in cargo hold number 2 above the water level. The ship remains capable to navigate without assistance and proceeds with her transit to the Suez Canal.
