Aerospace Inspection Training Malta
7 JULY 2020:Transport Malta Civil Aviation Directorate is proud to announce the issuance of an EASA Part-145 D1 rating approval certificate (MT.145.13) to Aerospace Inspection Training (AIT) Malta Limited.
The authority is confident that AIT Malta will offer the same quality level in non-destructive testing and inspection in the aerospace industry both locally and abroad, following the 50 years experience in NDT by their sister company Morgan Ward Ltd. in the UK.
This D1 rating approval covers Specialised Services which would allow AIT Malta to perform Non-Destructive Testing using various technical methods (including PT, MT, ET, UT and IRT).
Aerospace Inspection Training Malta Ltd presently provide support for their sister company Morgan Ward (NDT) Limited at many of the growing Ryanair bases in mainland Europe. The company, now with its own Part-145 approval, will look to extend its support services to other MROs beyond Malta, namely mainland Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. The approval is particularly important due to the forthcoming exit of the UK from the European Community.
This a very exciting time for Aerospace Inspection Training Malta Ltd. and all their staff, due to the great business opportunities this new approval will provide the Company. - Accountable Manager, Simon A. Wright.
Mr Wright thanked Transport Malta Aviation Directorate for their help and assistance during the audit process, especially considering the COVID-19 pandemic which restricted business activities.
