Application Forms for the Issuance of a Nautical Licence

Online Forms - New, Renewal, and Re-Issue of Nautical Licences

Transport Malta has launched an online form (e-form) where citizens with an e-ID may apply for the Nautical Licence from the comfort of their home. The service includes requests for:

New Nautical Licences
Renewals for expiring Nautical Licences
Re-issuing of lost/damaged Nautical Licences
Change of Details

Holders of an e-ID can apply online here.

Please note that the Medical Fitness Form below needs to be filled in and attached to the online form for new and renewal Nautical Licence applications.

The service also includes online payments once the client submission passes back office vetting. Applicants for the online service need to be in possession of an e-ID account. You may request your eID by calling on +356 25904300 or sending a request by email on servizz@gov.mt.

eResidence Document Holders: Visit one of the eID Registration Offices in Blata l-Bajda or in Rabat (Gozo). Presentation of one’s residence document and an email account are required to apply for an eID account.
