Road works

The Roads & Infrastructure Directorate, through its Works Quality Assurance Unit is responsible to promote, entrench, control and maintain acceptable quality standards related to all road intervention works, in accordance with the corresponding legislative frameworks and polices.

The aim is to:

• Ensure that road interventions are carried out safely, more efficiently and to high quality standards while causing as little inconvenience as possible.
• Ensure better coordination, cooperation and communication between the Road & Infrastructure Directorate (RID), utility providers and others.
• Ensure cost effectiveness and minimise future interventions.
